研究の経緯
鋼橋などの鋼構造物に対して、炭素線強化樹脂（CFRP）を用いた接着補修・補強に関する研究に取り組んできた。理論的な検討に加え、解析、実験も扱っている。また、その他の社会基盤構造物の維持管理に関する研究も行っている。
