研究の経緯
感覚知覚から社会的認知までの幅広いトピックを切り口にして、ヒトが外界情報からどのようにして主観的経験を作り出しているのかを解き明かそうとしている。また、その主観的体験が、外界に出力される行動にどのように寄与しているのかについても検証を重ねている。主として実験心理学的アプローチを用いているが、文化人類学、生理学、ロボティックス、情報科学などの手法も取り入れながら研究を進めている。
