研究の経緯
南海トラフ巨大地震やスーパー台風などの巨大災害の発生を見据え、人的被害最小化のための諸課題に取り組んでいる。特に、国土強靭化に資する社会基盤のあり方、避難方策のあり方、企業や地域の活性化と防災の関係性に注目し、理論的、解析的な研究とフィールドを重視した実践的な研究を実施している。
研究テーマ
① 巨大地震・津波に強いまちづくり
② 切迫感の醸成と避難開始に関する研究
③ 企業の専門性を活かした新規防災事業の可能性（太陽の防災）
