研究の経緯
日本の水辺のあり方を利水・治水・空間利用・環境などの観点から総合的に考えるべく、近現代の良好な水辺景観形成事例に関する土木史・都市史研究を行っている。さらに、歴史や地域の文脈を踏まえた地域まちづくり手法に関する研究も進めている。
