研究の経緯
社会心理学の立場から安全やリスクについて研究を行ってきている。心理学実験手法を用いた判断・意思決定問題について研究するとともに、社会調査手法、ならびにコミュニケーション･フォーラムなどによって、安全意識とリスクコミュニケーション、危機コミュニケーションを研究している。
