Kansai University European Center

Overview

Kansai University established Kansai University Japan-EU Research Center at KU Leuven, Belgium, on November 4, 2006, as part of its 120th anniversary celebrations. Since then,

"Kansai University Japan-EU Research Center" have operated as an academic research center. One of its goals is to promote research exchange and collaborate research between Japan and the EU and introduce Japanese culture to many citizens and students in the EU and Belgium In 2021, the 15th anniversary of the center, it was reorganized and renamed "Kansai University European Center" as a new center for education and research activities based on the achievements of ongoing activities at both universities.

The Center aims to promote research and educational exchange between Kansai University and European universities, and build a network.

Message

Kansai University was founded on November 4, 1886 as Kansai Law School. One hundred and twenty years later, Kansai University established the "the Kansai University Japan-EU Research Center" at KU Leuven, Belgium, on November 4, 2006, as part of its 120-th anniversary celebrations. In 2021, the 15th anniversary of its establishment, the Center was reorganized into the "Kansai University European Center."

The Kansai University European Center will build a network between Kansai University and its partner universities and related institutions in Europe and support research and educational exchanges. To this end, we would like to provide records and up-to-date information on our activities through this website and promote contact and interaction with those who visit.
