"“What is the Czech Republic Like?” ?

– Perspectives from a Kansai University Graduate from the Czech Republic & a KU Professor Who Lived There"

We are pleased to host another session of our Discover Europe Seminar series, designed to deepen understanding of European cultures. This time, we will focus on the Czech Republic.

In September 2023, Kansai University signed an academic exchange agreement with the Czech Technical University in Prague, our very first partner institution in the Czech Republic. But what kind of country is the Czech Republic?

For this seminar, we welcome Ms. Suzanka Hanibalová, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Sakai and Kansai University alumna, as well as Professor Tomohiro Sato from the Faculty of Engineering Science, Department of Mechanical Engineering, who has lived in the Czech Republic. They will share their perspectives on Czech culture, daily life, and the connections between Japan and the Czech Republic.

This is a great opportunity to experience a different culture and deepen your understanding of Europe. Make the most of your lunch break and feel free to join us!
