Kansai University European Center

On Friday, January 17, Mr. Thomas Gnocchi, Minister and Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Japan, visited Kansai University. 

The Delegation of the EU to Japan organizes the European Higher Education Fair each year to promote the appeal of studying in Europe to Japanese students. For the 2025 edition, the Kansai venue will be held at our Senriyama Campus, and the Minister's visit was part of the preparations for this upcoming event. 

During the visit, Professor Toshihiro Sawayama, Director of the Kansai University European Center, gave an overview of the Center’s activities and its partnerships with European universities. In addition, Professor Alexander Bennett, Deputy Director of the Center, reported on academic exchanges conducted through the Erasmus+ program. 

Looking ahead to the upcoming European Higher Education Fair, we will continue to work closely with the Delegation of the European Union to Japan.
