Students who plan to live in a dormitory at Kansai University will need a Japanese bank account to pay for your dorm fees. Students can only apply for opening a bank account after completing city hall procedures in Japan. For more detail, please check the following website.

In case you do not how to open a bank account, we will explain it in the orientation.
※You might need to declare your Tax Identification Number (TIN) to open a bank account in Japan. Please check your TIN before coming to Japan. The Tax Identification System differs in each country. 関西大学の寮に住む予定の学生は、寮費の引き落としに原則日本の銀行口座が必要です。口座の開設は市役所での住民登録が完了した後に行うことができます。詳細は以下のページをご確認ください。

※銀行口座開設にあたり、納税者番号（TIN:Tax Identification Number）を申請する必要がある場合があります。
　来日前に、ご自身の納税者番号を確認してください。
