Expert’s Eyes

Most of industrial facilities and plants such as power and chemical plants are designed based on thermo-fluid dynamics, and therefore, understanding heat and fluid flow is of great importance for their safety. I have been conducting research related to heat and fluid flow such as boiling heat transfer, two-phase flow, turbulence, transport phenomena and measurement methods for heat and fluid flow. These phenomena are elementary process of the safety issues in industrial facilities. The multi-physics phenomena and the relation with the safety in industrial systems are also my research topics.
