 My expertise lies in international project management, stakeholder engagement, and multicultural collaborative learning. I have been involved in numerous international projects, connecting researchers, practitioners, and policymakers across diverse fields. Building on this experience, my current work focuses on advancing multicultural learning environments and strengthening community resilience through education and collaborative practice.

Brief Personal History

Originally from Malaysia, Nafesa holds a PhD in Global Environmental Studies from Kyoto University and a Master’s in Disaster Prevention and Reduction from Kansai University. Since 2018, she has been engaged in planning and managing international collaborative projects. She joined Kansai University’s Faculty of Societal Safety Sciences as a Specially Appointed Associate Professor in 2025.
