Kansai University Bekka Program Holds Entrance Ceremony for Spring Semester 2026!

On April 2, the Entrance Ceremony for the Spring Semester 2026 of the Kansai University Bekka Program was held at Minami-Senri International Plaza, welcoming 46 new students.
At the ceremony, an opening address was delivered by the Director of the Center for International Education, Mitsuru Inada, followed by congratulatory remarks from Vice President Takeuchi and Executive Trustee, Kazuhiro Yabuta.
Next, representing the new students, Liu Liang (China) delivered a confident and composed pledge, expressing her determination for the academic journey ahead. The ceremony was conducted in a formal and dignified atmosphere, and the new students carefully followed Japanese-style etiquette such as standing and bowing.
Including the 46 Bekka students, a total of 94 new students began their studies at Kansai University the Bekka .
After the ceremony, a welcome reception was held, where Bekka faculty members offered warm messages of encouragement. They shared remarks such as:
"Welcome to Japan. Learning Japanese can sometimes be challenging, but it is also an exciting adventure. Learning a new language and culture is a wonderful opportunity for personal growth. Do not be afraid of making mistakes--communicate actively. Language is an important bridge that connects people."
The new students deepened their connections while enjoying light refreshments with faculty members and newly met classmates, taking their first step toward achieving their individual goals.
