Bekka Program: Applications Now Open for September 2026 Admission

The application period for admission in September 2026 is April 1 to April 20, 2026.

To apply, you must complete the following three procedures:

　①Payment of the application fee

　②Online registration

　③Submission of the application packages

【Payment of the Application Fee】

Starting with applications for April 2026, the method of paying the application fee has changed.

Please pay the application fee using Flywire (school fee payment intermediary system for international students).

The payment must be received by the university by April 20, so please complete the transfer well in advance.

【Important Notice】

From April 2028 onward, the following subjects will no longer be offered:

General Subjects, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

To students who are planning to apply for the Japanese Language and Culture Program Preparatory Course(the Bekka),

Starting April 2026, the application fee payment method will change.
The new payment method will be online payment via Flywire.

The admission guide is currently being prepared.
Once the admission guide is completed, we will make an announcement again on the News page.

On Friday, March 21, 2025, Kansai University's Bekka will host an FD (Faculty Development) Session titled "Effective Approaches to Teaching Reading Comprehension"!

This session will explore effective strategies for conducting reading comprehension classes and their connection to the "Framework of Reference for Japanese Language Education".

We are pleased to welcome Miho Kameda, Director of the Osaka YMCA Japanese Language Education Center, as our guest lecturer, who will provide an in-depth explanation of textbook concepts, lesson structures, and class organization methods.
