Outgoing Student Exchange
This program allows students to study at one of Kansai University's overseas partner institutions for a period of one or two semesters. The period of enrollment at the overseas institution will be counted toward graduation from Kansai University, and the credit hours completed during that time will be transferred in fulfillment of degree requirements. The student pays for educational expenses at Kansai University, but is exempt from paying tuition at the host institution, and will be granted a scholarship from Kansai University's International Exchange Fund.
Pre-Approved Study Abroad
This program allows Kansai University students to study their major at respected universities, including partner universities, and a foreign language at a university-affiliated language school for one or two semesters. Students can choose a customized program which includes fieldwork as a practical activity. The period of enrollment at the host institution will count towards graduation from Kansai University, and the credit hours earned during that time can be transferred in part fulfillment of degree requirements. Kansai University charges students a special fee of 100,000 yen per semester they are away, but they are exempt from paying tuition, development and laboratory fees during the applicable period. Those wishing to take advantage of this arrangement should first obtain permission to enroll at the overseas institution of their choice, and then apply at Kansai University’s Division of International Affairs.
