2018/04/25

At Kansai University Japanese Language and Culture Program Preparatory Course (Bekka), we offer field trips for students to learn about Japan and its culture three times a year.

On April 21, about 100 Bekka students and some faculty members went on a field trip to Wakayama. They visited Tsunami and Storm Surge Disaster Prevention Center where they learned how to protect their lives from the natural disasters of tsunami and earthquake. At Kuroshio Market, they had lunch after watching how a whole tuna fish being cut, and they also learned a history and methods of making soy sauce at Yuasa Soy Sauce Factory.

Bekka students had a great day learning about Japanese culture and technologies, as well as communication and friendships with new friends.
