Sado (Tea Ceremony) Experience

Bekka students had a Sado (tea ceremony) experience as part of Japan Studies classes. Many of the students have learnt about tea ceremony from textbooks but it was the first time for most of them to experience Sado. First, students from Sado Club performed the manner of tea ceremony, and then Bekkastudents enjoyed tea and Japanese sweets. After that, they worked in pairs and tried to make tea for each other. Although some of the students had difficulty sitting in seiza, they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
