At Kansai University Japanese Language and Culture Program, students are given opportunities to participate field trips 3 times a year.

On December 13, Bekka students went on a field trip in Kyoto. First, they visited Asahi Breweries Suita Factory and learnt about the beer brewing process. At the end of the factory tour, the students enjoyed freshly-brewed draft beer and soft drinks. The students then visited Nijo-jo Castle, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and at Myoshin-ji Temple, they had a Zazen meditation experience. It was a great opportunity for the Bekka students to learn about Japanese culture and technology.
