Friction reduction of SiC mechanical seal by carbon nanofiber film

賞の概要

〇受賞内容：焼結炭化ケイ素（SiC)で作成されたメカニカルシールの摩擦低減のため、焼結SiCを1500℃で真空過熱してSiC表面にカーボンナノファイバー（CNF）膜を成長させてメカニカルシールの耐久性と摩擦係数を評価し、焼結SiCの場合より優れた低摩擦を示すことを確認した。

〇Best Poster Awardの選出基準は次のように示されており、ポスター発表者24名のうち私を含めた6名が選ばれました。
【In deciding about the awards, the judging panel will take into consideration the following criteria:
1. Originality of the research.
2. Scientific quality (literature acknowledgement, methodology, results and discussion).
3. Presentation quality of the poster (visual and author’s presentation)】
また、全体（ポスター、オーラル）としての発表件数は約230件でした。
