Unit of Mathematics

Mathematics is one of the most important basic subjects of all areas of engineering.

Students should achieve mastery in mathematics in their undergraduate years. Mathematics has developed not only as a method of calculation but as a method of thinking. This idea is realized in the first year program in mathematics which is offered to the students of Engineering. Intuition, reasoning, demonstration, and calculation make a good mathematical background. Such abilities will be gained only after long and hard training.

The undergraduate programs for mathmatics are Calculus I, Calculus II, Linear Algebra I, Linear Algebra II, Mathematical Analysis I, Mathematical Analysis II and Statistics. The teacher-training courses include Analysis, Algebra, Statistics, Geometry I, and Geometry II.
