This educational program aims to restructure the educational system of humanities. It specifically aims to promote advanced and broadened knowledge as well as creative thinking among the graduate students, while encouraging them to acquire the thinking process and the ability to proactively communicate in the internationalized academic context. Since Europe played the major role in systematizing modern Japanese humanities, this program ties up with EU again as its partner and uses “Japanology” as its key concept, in its process to substantiate “internationalized and attractive graduate education.” This program is set as a sub-major in the faculty of humanities. Graduate students have a chance to research through the intercourse with foreign students who take Japanese studies course in universities in EU countries.
