  1. The Graduate School of Law offers three courses as follows.
    (1) Legal and Political Studies Course (Research- Oriented Program): This program, culminating in a Ph.D., is designed to prepare students for a career in research.
    (2) Business Law Course (Professional Program): This program, culminating in a Master's Degree provides students who intend to become professionals in business law or pursue law-related careers with knowledge and assistance in acquiring the advanced competence required in specialized professions.
    (3) Public Policy Course (Professional Program): This program, culminating in a Master's Degree, provides students who intend to become public servants, staff members of public organizations both at home and abroad or journalists with technical knowledge and assists them to acquire the advanced competence required in specialized professions.
  2. The Graduate School of Economics offers two courses, Project Course and Academic Course. We guide and support graduate students with various practical or academic concern via our multifaceted curriculum.
    (1) Project Course offers the following five systems.

    Economist System
    Public Policy System
    Regional and International Economy System
    History and Society System
    Corporation and Finance System

    Students are required to register the subjects offered from the system they specialize in. This course consists only of the 2-year Master degree program, in which students are expected to acquire the highly professional knowledge.
    (2) Academic Course consists of two successive programs, the 2-year Master degree program and the 3-year Doctoral degree program. After completing this course, students are planned to become an independent researcher in their specialized Economics field.
  3. The Graduate School of Commerce offers two programs, a Research-oriented Program and a Professional Program.
    (1) The Research-oriented Program aims to provide students with the advanced skills essential to the conduct of effective independent research in their respective areas of specialization, and to foster a high level of scholarship that will form a sound basis from which to conceive and pursue further research projects.
    This program consists mainly of seminars and thesis guidance, and it is intended for those that desire to go on to a Ph.D. Degree Program upon completion of a Master's Degree Program.
    (2) The Professional Program aims to equip students preparing for careers in business and industry with the expertise and insight necessary for them to cope with business affairs in an increasingly complex, advanced economic environment. Offered in this program are courses by full-time professors in the Faculty of Commerce and those by part-time lecturers that are highly qualified authorities in their respective fields.
    Also offered are seminars in such areas as Distribution and Marketing, Finance, International Business, Management and Accounting.
