Kansai University Tokyo Center

The Kansai University Tokyo Center, situated in front of JR Tokyo Station, was established in July 2003 as the university's information portal in the capital region. The Center's functions range from lending support to our students who are seeking employment; maintaining close contact with alumni, school benefactors, and parents/guardians of our students; working on relations with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as well as businesses; and recruiting prospective students.

Internet terminals are available, which should be handy for students who need to do some quick search in the midst of their job hunt. They can get job information and advice, student discount tickets, and official grade reports, right on the spot. The Center can also be used as a base to visit prospective companies in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Furthermore, the Center is also working to convey Kansai University's appeal to interested high school students in the capital sphere, by offering information on entrance exams to high schools and preparatory schools.
The Center is also active in supporting and deepening relationships between the roughly 20,000 Kansai University graduates living in the Tokyo area.
With several permanent staff, the Tokyo Center is Kansai University's information base in Eastern Japan, functioning as a meeting point between Kansai University and other universities and businesses.

To pursue a more modern and comfortable atmosphere for a better environment, in March 2007 the Tokyo Center moved to a 35-story building. The new Center is on the ninth floor of Sapia Tower, and it is three times more spacious (640 square meters) compared to the previous size. The advantage of the new office is not only the spaciousness but it provides direct access to both JR Tokyo Station (Nihonbashiguchi exit) and Tokyo Metro Otemachi Station (Tozai line). The address of the new office is: Sapia Tower 9th floor, 1-7-12 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
