Legal consultations as part of School of Law course requirements

At Nakanoshima Center our students provide legal consultation to the general public, free of charge. As part of the School of Law business practice, students interview citizens with legal problems with School of Law professors (lawyers) present and thereby learn how legal knowledge can be applied in real life cases, which we hope will help them refine their academic skills, while at the same time we hope to contribute to society through that act. Additionally, video conferences are held on this satellite campus for people who live in regions with limited access to legal assistance.

Assisting students with finding employment

In the Nakanoshima area or around Midosuji, where the Nakanoshima Center stands, a massive amount of business, including government and other public offices, is concentrated. Not only can our students take a break between their appointments or exchange useful information with other students, but they can register to receive newsletters utilizing computers at the center, which should provide even stronger support.

Serving as an information center

Kansai University Nakanoshima Center

We prepare the leaflets/brochures which have all the necessary information about our university. This information includes the courses each faculty offers and the details of entrance examinations. We hope parents with children who are preparing for entrance examinations or working adults who seek opportunities to study at our university will find it helpful.

Center for academic affairs and communication

While this center is designed to serve as a satellite campus where students can take courses or hold conferences, it can also be used as a place for communication among Kansai University graduates.

Extension courses offered by professionals

Extension courses are offered to the general public, free of charge, by legal experts and practitioners. The purpose of this is for Kansai University to become a university that is open and more accessible to society through offering a broad range of legal knowledge. In addition, we will hold specialist training regularly, targeting entrepreneurs.
